Sargodha Board was created in 1968 as an autonomous body. The board is functioning under the ministry of education. At higher level all the educational matters and polices are the main responsibility of Education ministry.in Punjab province the Sargodha board has gotten its distinction among the other boards and raising its standard among the other boards. Since the board is functioning it is making efforts to upgrade its standard of education. There are four districts for which BISE Sargodha Board holds matric and intermediate exams. These are Khusbab, Mianwali, Bhakkar and Sargodha itself. Thousands of thousands students every year register themselves with the board to appear in the exam and after passing the respective course the board awards degrees and certificates to students belong to linked areas. Since the inauguration of board it is organizing exams for matric and inter students and also conduct certificate courses. Now the board is going to announce its Matric Date Sheet 2016 Sargodha Board for scheduling annual examinations that will be held in coming months of March or April 2016.
